Hello my name is Justin and I run the fresh Semolina Pasta stall at St. George’s market on Saturdays.

I have loved food from a young age and although I have been working in the restaurant business for around 20 years my heart has always been with the home cook. All good food come from necessity and this is where the home cook always has an advantage over the professionals. I always seem to produce some of my best meals when the cupboard is almost empty.

This is why I set up Semolina Pasta to help the home cook, the are no ready meals on sale at my stall, the sauces, although ready to use still need seasoned and they are so simple that they can be used as the backbone to so many other sauces, soups and stews. Pasta is a staple in our house and so many others, it can be eaten simply or you can use it in a complex dish fit for any dinner guests.
